Dan Hall
HEAD COACH
Dan's boxing life began at Cwmbran ABC back in S.Wales as a jnr some 35yrs ago which continued whilst serving in the RAF. He has gained a vast amount of experience as England Boxing Coach during his time at Windrush Valley ABC with 20yrs experience training boxers to national level. He still keeps fit with Judo and Brazilian jiu jitsu and is very focused on the community supporting young people through anti crime, drug rehabilitation and vulnerable people support programs.. When not participating in BJJ, judo or running the gym, he enjoys spending time with his family. -
Chris Willmott
LEVEL 2 MATCHING COACH
Chris started his boxing life in Hayes some 50yrs ago. He is one of the original Windrush Valley ABC coaching staff who previously worked with Witney ABC. Chris has gained a vast amount of knowledge during his 25yrs of coaching experience training boxers to national level.
Chris enjoys cricket both as a player and an armchair supporter. He runs his own business which he says is enough to keep him busy. -
John Kearns
LEVEL 2 COACH
John’s boxing life began in 2011 where he started competing as a novice for the RAF Boxing team. Over a period of 7 years and in between various operational tours, he competed for the RAF on a regular basis. Following this he completed his coaching courses which have seen him take the position of RAF Boxing Team Manager, responsible for the development of the RAFs Elite boxing team. He joined the Windrush Valley ABC team in July 2022 to assist the already established team in the development of boxers within the community. Currently a level 2 coach and eager to develop himself further he has obtained a position on the England Boxing Level 3 Senior Coaching programme.
Outside of boxing he is an enthusiastic football fan. He supports Liverpool and has an extreme dislike for Manchester United.

Al Marsden
LEVEL 2 COACH
Alex Marsden, stationed at TAC Fire with the RAF Fire Service, began his boxing journey at age 12 at Kirkby ABC. His passion for boxing has continued through his time in the RAF and now at Winrush Vally ABC, where he is a Level 2 coach. He has quickly become an integral part of the family and dedicates himself to inspiring young boxers.
Outside of boxing, he enjoys football, spending time with family, and the occasional beer in social settings.
He dislikes people who lack work ethic but still expect to reach the top.

James " George" Forman
LEVEL 2 COACH
George’s boxing life began just after he joined the RAF in 2015 as a firefighter, he was instantly hooked and over the years has only grown to love the sport more. Representing both the RAF & Windrush Valley ABC as a boxer he has also gone on to complete his level 2 EB coaching course, and now enjoys learning and developing while facing the challenges as a coach. Now enjoying a whole other side of boxing seeing young boxers in the Club develop and succeed themselves.

Georgia Hall
LEVEL 1 COACH
Georgia was born into a boxing family and has been part of Windrush Valley ABC all her life. She has competed at National level in Judo and has also completed a degree in Sports coaching at Oxford University which she uses to keep the club up to date with all the latest coaching techniques.

Ant Lydon
LEVEL 1 COACH
Ants boxing life began in Manchester in the late 90s where he enjoyed the training and he took up his boxing journey again in RAF in 2014 as an Official and then later the Medical Secretary and Treasurer for the RAFBA. He has completed his Level One England Boxing Coaching. He enjoys coaching at the club and assisting in the development of boxers. He dislikes when people don’t put in 100% effort during sessions.
